AS GOV. WIKE COMMISSIONS FLYOVER, AKWA IBOMITES KNOCKS UDOM FOR CONSTRUCTING EKOM IMAN FLYOVER FOR 5 YEARS!!!! The governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike over the weekend commissioned one of the five flyovers awarded less than a year ago.  The state of the art flyover is about three kilometer stretch and it's handled by construction giant Julius Berger. While commissioning the first of the five, which is situated at Garrison junction now renamed Rebisi junction flyover, the governor hinted  the minister the works Mr Babatunde Fashola SAN that by December 2020 the Rumuokoro flyover on East-West road will be commissioned while that of Rumuogba (Atillary), Rumuola and others  is slated for February 2021. The commissioning of the flyover has elicited reactions from Akwa Ibomites who reside in the state and in diaspora. ASUU Strike: President Buhari Sends Message To ASUU Recall that the Academic staff union of universities ASUU has embarked on strike since the month of March due to the fact that the federal government has refused to pay some members of the union who failed to enroll into the federal government's IPPIS as payment system, as the union demands for new payment system. However, the Federal government has held so many meetings with ASUU but no rigid agreement has been reached yet as the union continues strike. Following the ongoing ASUU strike, President Mohammadu Buhari has sent message to the union assuring that the federal government would meet all agreements with unions in the educational sector. Two final year Delta State Poly students die in ghastly motor accident on the way to their graduation party Two final year students of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area, lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident on their graduation day. The students who were supposed to be conferred graduates of the institution died on their way to the graduation ceremony, following an accident that involved a commercial tricycle and a Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), last Friday, November 13th. The deceased have been identified as Annabel Ogaga Akpofure and Oke Melissa. Until their death Annabel was the departmental president of accountancy, while Melissa was a final year student from the department of Mass Communication. Both students were buried on Tuesday, November 17th. Annabel was laid to rest in her hometown, Ovara-Unukpo town, Orogun in Ughelli North local government Area of Delta state while Melissa was buried in Otu-Jeremi in Ughelli South LGA

GOSSIP Nigerian Embassy staff in Germany caught sleeping with a lady after promising to renew her passport (Video) A staff of the Nigerian embassy in Berlin, Germany simply known as Martins, has been caught pants down in bed with a lady whom he promised passport renewal. According to reports, Martins often promises to help Nigerian ladies in Germany to renew their passport so long as they give in to his sexual demands. However, on this fateful day, he was caught in a hotel with a lady while they were in the act. Ijeoma Neke was a beautiful and hard working lady who worked as a beautician and makeup artist. She hailed from Imo State, but resides and work in Enugu State. Unfortunately, she was found death on the 15th of November, but before she died she posted a video which seems confusing to most of his fans and friends. According to reports, Ijeoma Neke was last seen on Wednesday 11th November 2020 in Enugu.
