Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah,* on his well-deserved victory at the Enugu Election Petition Tribunal today.   The Senator described the judgement as justice well deserved. He applauded the judiciary for their impartiality, living up to expectations, and not giving in to unnecessary sentiments not known to our law or electoral act.  Some representatives of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF UDI STUDENTS (NAUS)  yesterday  8th of February 2020 visited the enugu residence of the  former governor of enugu state... BARRISTER SULLIVAN CHIME.  In a discussion with the visitors, the former governor adviced them to  change the name of the association from NAUS TO UDI STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (NATIONAL) he further adviced them to bring up a good program that will suit both the male and female students of udi local government..    At the end of the meeting, the former governor supported the association with a sum of 100,000 naira...   It is good to note that out of the 100, 000 naira, the students of udi local government were only given 1000 naira through recharge card give away...   BELOW is the details of how the representatives shared the money  1. 50,000 was mapped out to be deposited into the yet to be created account of the association  2. 5,000 each was given to 6 of the excos who represented the association = 30,0

Pigeons released by Buhari refuse to fly at Armed Forces Remembrance (Punch) The doves, otherwise known as white pigeons, released by the President, Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), at the Armed Forces Remembrance Day ceremony, refused to fly despite multiple attempts by the President thereby sparking a debate on social media on Friday. The President had opened the birdcage at the National Arcade, picked up one of the doves, and thrown it into the air but the bird landed atop the cage and refused to fly.
